Our program today is a report from all our club committees to bring members up to date on accomplishments thus far and goals for the remainder of the year.  Program chairs, please meet with your committees prior to Thursday so you will be prepared to share important details on your committee's work.  

Join President Regan and fellow members to distribute membership brochures about our club to the buildings in the DUET complex.  We are on a roll with membership growth--this is another opportunity to get the word out about our "growing" club and invite potential Rotarians to visit the club and consider membership.

Activity from 11:00-12:00....If we have enough members we should be able to cover the entire complex.  Please join our effort if you can.

This is our third Student of the Month (SOM) program for the year.  Please mark you calendars and join your fellow Rotarians to meet & greet students and their parents.  This is always an uplifting event.  

We will meet at Cortez High School - 8828 N. 31st Avenue.  Our program will feature five students who attended RYLA Camp in Prescott over MLK Weekend.  We sponsored and financially supported two of those five students.  

Let's have an amazing turnout to hear about the impact RYLA has had on the students.

Watch for specific details as to location of the meeting at Cortez.  

Join fellow members for lunch followed by distribution of Rotary Flyers to offices in the complex.  We're on a roll with adding three new members and a fourth to follow soon so this is an opportunity to grow our club further with lots of potential members right in our back yard!  Please attend--the more members we have, the faster the task and the more offices we can cover--many hands make light work!

Come meet Cheryl, our Cutest Pet Contest collaborator, and learn more about her organization-- HARTT (Humane Animal Rescue and Trapping Team.)  We will present her check for half the proceeds from our successful fall fundraiser.

This is our March DIAD project in conjunction with Peoria North Rotary..  We will help with Prom Closet that provides prom dresses for graduating seniors.

We will meet at Glendale System of Care 7677 Bethany Home Road from 12:00-1:30

Our speaker will be Jeanne Sours who will share her experiences with the Sister Cities program in general and the partnership between Phoenix and Suwon, South Korea in particular.  This will be an interesting and informative program to be sure.

You are signing up for our DIAD on April 17--12:00-1:30 at the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children at 7010 E. Cochise Road, Scottsdale, 85253.  You need to also register as a volunteer with the AZ Cancer Foundation for Children using the link that will be  sent in a separate e-mail.  A guided tour will be followed by hands-on activities.  Let's have a good showing----many  hands make light work!

Our speaker will be Vanessa Kanaga, an Attorney at Becker & House, who specializes in estate planning.  

The Board will meet at 11am.  All members are are always welcome to attend the board meeting.  

Ann O'Brien from the City of Phoenix will speak to us about the state of the city.

Please join your fellow Rotarians to support the Osborn School District (OSDEF) Spring 'Fun'd Raiser at OHSO Brewery and Restaurant at 8525 N. Central (Central & Dunlap) starting at 5:30PM.  Tell them the Osborn Foundation sent you.  The Foundation will receive 25% of the proceeds for the day!  If you can't come at 5:30, come for breakfast or lunch--bring your friends and family.  The deal is good all day long--7AM to 10PM.    Oh yes...wear your Rotary pin and your shirt if you have one.

The Foundation thanks you for your support...proceeds support mini-grants and books for third graders' home libraries.    

Join fellow members at Family Promise Legacy Village that has just had its grand opening.  We will see six beautifully transformed shipping container homes come to life for families in need in Glendale.

Legacy Village is located  at 6242 N. 59th Avenue in Glendale on the campus of Inglesia Dios De Segunda Opportunidad.  I understand we have a  paint by number project to provide art work for the newly opened apartments when the first residents arrive on June 1.  

Josh Gunn , CEO of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce will be our guest speaker for this our last official meeting in May.  We're dark on May 29, but have a social event at 5:30 that evening at Bowlero, Glendale.  

Please join in on this informative session.

The board will hold it's June meeting at 11:00AM....as always, the meeting is open to all interested members.

Join your fellow Rotarians to celebrate Regan's successful year and welcome John as our new president for the 2025-26 Rotary year.  The new board will also be inducted.  

The club will pay for members' lunches, along with a few special guests; otherwise, David will bill members for the cost of friends and family meals. This is always a fun celebration, so the more the merrier!
